Dave's Day Off
Dave L. had a day off and the
shop was slow so we decided
to head out and enjoy
the day...
With a good part of the day gone, we
head up 9 mile out of Meeker to
check out the green.
Dave had started a new job so he has
been working a lot of weekends and
hasn't been able to go on many trips.
Just a neat old place...
The weather is perfect for a ride.
A short stop that was going to be the
turn around point, but with the day
being so nice, we had to keep going.
This place just begged me to
take its picture...
Even better in black and white...
We wanted pizza for lunch, and Craig
had a Pizza Hut so Craig it is.
WOW!!! The river is really high
here as well.
More of the high water near Craig.
After some slices in Craig, well,
Steamboat isn't too far off so
what the heck.
While we are at it we might just
as well go the full loop and go to
Wallcot...
All of that high water and the mountains
still have plenty of snow left.

After we got to Wallcot we hit
I-70 West and headed home.
What started out to be a short
ride ended up an all day trip,
and a good trip it was...
