Deatra and I had gotten our
yard work all done so we
decided to take off for a ride
up the White River.
Deatra and I have some friends that
have guest cabins up here so we stay
up here a lot and we do a lot of
fly fishing up here also.
This field is loaded with elk in the
winter months, and turkey in the fall.

The White River is still running a
little too fast and muddy to do any
fly fishing...
The grass is very high outside the
old Sleepy Cat Lodge. It has been
a very wet spring everywhere.
This is all being sub-divided for million
dollar homes. When it is done this area
won't be worth SH*# for us
working class sportsmen...
My sweetie,
enjoying her summer vacation
from teaching.
Me and my sweetie,
I am standing in a hole, I am not
that short... no really, I'm not! Really!

The old Forest Service building...
Green, Green, and more Green...
I would love to have some of this
moss rock for our front yard.
Lost again!!!
The little spot on the right side
of the road is a little fox that sat
there and watched us ride by...

We stopped off in Meeker for some
water and jerky and headed home
for supper.
Look at that smile!
that says it all; great weather, great
ride, and the best wife in the world...
ride, and the best wife in the world...
Rio Blanco Hill means that
we are close to home, this one
is all but over and I can't wait
for the next one already.
